SourceOne Global Partners, Chicago, IL, has signed an exclusive agreement with Douglas Laboratories, Pittsburgh, PA, to market Sytrinol to the practitioner market. Sytrinol, a patented proprietary formula derived from citrus and palm fruit ex­tracts, is composed of polymethoxylated flavones and tocotrienols. Multiple clinical trials have demonstrated that Sytrinol acts synergistically to reduce total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides by 25%, 22% and 28%, respectively.

In other news, the company has formed a strategic partnership with Soft Gel Technologies (SGTI), Inc., Los Angeles, CA, making SGTI the exclusive manufacturer of soft gel capsules containing Sytrinol. The research and development staff of SGTI will work closely with customers to create new formulations featuring Sytrinol or help to expand existing product lines with the compound.
